Job Purpose:

Providing professional packaging, shipping and receiving services in a high production environment. Filling orders and applying good team work skills.


Duties:

* Facilitates shipments by inspecting product upon receipt and posting on a network computer environment.

* Professionally packaging product to ensure safe delivery.

* Preparing final customer invoice.

* Selecting the proper carrier based on timeliness and cost-efficiency.
 
* Working well with fellow employees to complete other tasks as needed to promote the general welfare of the shipping and receiving department.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Prior work experience in shipping and receiving environment. A person that is comfortable with computer technology will be best suited for this position. The best possible growth will be found by an individual who demonstrates the ability to solve problems and create an efficient and cost-effective work environment. Typing skills are recommended. Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
