TECHNICAL SERVICES SPECIALIST

ASC Industries, Inc. is a leading world manufacturer of new water pumps for automotive and light truck vehicles.  ASC has succeeded in achieving consistent growth in the automotive aftermarket and continues to develop its capabilities in customer satisfaction, technical expertise and superior product quality.  We currently have an opening in our Corporate office for a TECHNICAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE. 

The Technical Services Representative provides customers and end users with product and technical support by performing the following duties:Implements systems for responding to customer inquiries via telephone, online networks and mail.Tracks answers to customer inquires and complaintsAdvises upper management on product development issues arising from product problems identified through technical support calls with customersAdvise technical writers on user documentation per customer frequency of requestsHandles customer problems that appear to arise from the use of the productCompletes, maintains and processes pertinent paperwork, records and database on customersPlans and schedules levels of support according to product release schedulesAssists in formulating product performance results of market testing of new products via response trackingConducts training sessions internally and to sales network on the function of the productsHandles product warranty information and necessary customer correspondence regarding filing of claims

To be considered for this position, you must have:High School diplomaMinimum 5 years of automotive parts counter or technician experienceAbility to read blueprintsStrong computer skillsGood writing skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Detail orientationASE Certification a plus
