Tractor Trailer Service Manager

NFI has an immediate opening for an experienced Service Manager working out of our Edison, NJ terminal.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in a fleet maintenance environment as well as mechanical ability to repair diesel tractors and trailers. Also, the candidate should have 3-5 years of management experience. Duties will include supervising mechanics as well as being responsible for all repairs, order entries, inventory levels, purchasing, scheduling of repairs and coordination of after hours road calls. This position requires a quick thinker, solid knowledge of maintenance issues and a strong knowledge of DOT regulations. Strong computer skills is a must. Must have a strong knowledge of diesel engines.
