Welder

Welder:  Use a GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) electric arc, welding process to weld parts to print specifications, Inspect parts per print specifications,  set-up and adjust welder and fixtures to print specifications, use a carbon arc air gourging and cutting process for rework, use hand grinders to fit parts as needed,  rotate to one of 16 various weld stations, perform other related duties as assigned.
Per 8-hour shift (stand 6 hrs.., walk 2 hrs) occassionally (bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, kneel, push/pull). Frequent lifting and carrying (freguently from 0-34lbs., occassionally from 35lbs-49.5lbs.)  Must be able to hear, see, distinguish colors, do simple and firm grasping, with both hands.  Must be able to work in a moderately noisy enviroment that includes exposure to heat, weld dust, weld fumes, weld flash, solvents and ioil.  Must be able to safey work in area of lift truck traffic.
