First Vice President, Business Analysis

This position manages and oversees the functions and activities of the Business Analysis department, which includes project management, management reporting, analytics related to the ongoing operations of the group, and research of opportunities for increased revenue, cost reduction, and process/systems improvement. Responsibilities include developing business system requirements for IT projects required to meet the tactical and strategic business objectives of the group, in addition to participating in strategic planning efforts for new/existing businesses and third party customers; and performing other special projects as needed and directed by senior and executive management. Key functions also include reviewing business analyst group projects/work, allocating resources, and prioritizing projects by working with senior management, in addition to mentoring analysts in improving the quality of their output by monitoring, evaluating and providing feedback on their output to ensure that analysis is thorough, requirements are captured completely and documentation is well-organized and effective.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field.
- Understanding of mortgage and commercial banking principles, practices, and processes.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency in computers and systems applications.
- Management skills relating to department goals, objectives, budgets, etc.
- Excellent and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills include the ability to give a stand-up presentation and develop business plan documents.
- Ability to work with people who have varying degrees of technical knowledge.
