AVP, Credit Officer

Business Segment: Retail - Large Ticket T

Essential Position Requirements:

" Bachelor's degree required (MBA a plus).

" At least 5 years experience in analyzing financial statements, assessing risk and structuring transactions.

" Strong analytical skills - ability to assess financial statements (cash flow, leverage, liquidity) and collateral.

" Remedial management or auditing experience a plus.

" Balanced, good judgment - strong credit decisioning skills.

" Strong written and oral communication skills

" Strong underwriting skills.

" Experience with loan documentation.

" Well organized with strong time management skills.

" Proficient in Word and Excel.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

" Responsible for preparing comprehensive written analysis of obligors utilizing Risk Acceptance Criteria and other business underwriting standards.

" Responsible for completing annual reviews of larger guidance line customers.

" Responsible for reviewing and providing final decision on credits with a total exposure under $250M that are scored manual review by the credit scoring model.

" Coordinate with other functional disciplines (marketing, collections, operations) and business management.

" Responsible for problem recognition and timely classification.

" Assist in developing process efficiencies.
