Assistant Vice President, Credit Reporting and Analysis
The department manages the reporting, analysis and evaluation of all loan portfolios. Provides support to senior management in the areas of reporting and analysis. Analyzes areas of credit concentration and risk, identify weaknesses in the underwriting process and make recommendations as needed. Manages the timely collection and reporting of data and reports needed for monthly committee and board reports.
The Assistant Vice President, Credit Reporting and Analysis is responsible for managing Manage the Portfolio Reporting Analysis area to efficiently provide senior division management and regional/branch management with relevant business analysis for effective and timely decision-making. Assure that adequate resources and training are provided sufficient to insure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and that such commitment to compliance is fully communicated to the staff, internal and external clients and other parties within the VP area of responsibility.
Primary responsibilities include:
Management of Business Reporting and Analysis of monthly Board reports including Credit Quality Reviews Loan Loss Reserve Analysis and Calculation, Quarterly Analysis of Portfolio Activity Credit Analysis Portfolio Comparison and Profitability Underwriting Performance. Other reports as needed.
Develop automated processes to generate these reports with a minimum of human intervention.
Work with modeling staff to implement department models in a user-accessible framework.
Provide ongoing support of department automation efforts and user developed applications.
A successful candidate will have:
4-year college degree (Bachelor or equivalent).
3+ years experience.
Knowledge of SAS software and SQL.
An ideal candidate may also possess:
Accounting or Finance experience.
