Account Executive II

 St Louis Retail Lending & Payment Systems.  Responsible for selling Commerce's Commercial Bankcard products to new accounts. The new sales effort will be conducted through branch or commercial businesses. Utilize strategic selling and business development processes while maintaining an acceptable level of return. Sales effort is targeted primarily to large corporate customers, with the primary contact being either the CFO, Controller or Treasury Manager of the Company. Responsible for developing leads, this position works closely with Treasury Services and Commercial Relationship Officers within Commerce Bank to call directly on companies without current Commercial Card relationships.

College degree with emphasis in business administration, accounting or finance, and a banking curriculum. 1 year of specific commercial card, commercial lending or merchant bankcard experience in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Accounting or Operations. 1 year business-to-business sale or support experience. Excellent verbal and written skills. Excellent presentations skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 1 year PC experience (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point). Professional demeanor and appearance. Sales aptitude.PREFERRED:PC exposure and experience in MS Access helpful. Previous accounting, marketing or software sales experience. Contract negotiation experience. General knowledge of commercial or consumer credit.
