Administrative Assistant - Banking

Our bank is seeking a full-time energetic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Lending Department of our Los Angeles office.  This position reports to the VP and Sr. Relationship Manager and requires a very service-oriented person with great computer skills:  we use Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer.  Your responsibilities will include answering and directing phone calls, setting appointments, processing customer requests, generating written material such as marketing letters and account analysis letters.  You should be proficient with using mail merge for sending out quarterly mass mailings, annual reports, etc.  Additional job duties may include ordering supplies, maintaining coffee area and assisting with special projects as they arise.  You should have excellent communications skills including editing and proofreading abilities, a positive attitude, be able to take initiative and multi-task.  Knowledge of banking services is preferred.
