Alliances Coordinator (127896-618)

Open Solutions Inc. has a full suite of software products and services designed to allow banks, thrifts and credit unions to better compete in today?s aggressive financial services marketplace, and expand and tap their trusted financial relationships, client affinity, community presence and personalized service.

We seek an Alliances Coordinator for our Marketing Group, located at our North American headquarters in Glastonbury, CT.

As our Alliances Coordinator, you will work with the Alliances Management team to make sure there is a smooth implementation of negotiated contracts, partner projects and associated initiatives.

In this role, you will
 * monitor and report revenue from Open Solutions partners and communicate meaningful data to Alliance Management to support contract renewal decisions
 * plan/execute partner-specific marketing and promotional plans
 * coordinate Alliances' portion of internet, intranet and extranet sites
 * maintain, create and distribute partner sales literature and information
 * act as a liaison with other departments as well as with sales and account managers
 * be the Peoplesoft requestor and receiver for the Alliances team
 * act as day-to-day contact for sales and vendors
 * edit and maintain the Price Book, and assist Alliances management with development of pricing sheets and sales proposals
 * accomplish general administrative duties including agenda planning, calendaring and coordination of Open Solutions? presenters for visits and briefings
 * do some minimal travel and travel-schedule coordination for the Alliances Management team
 * fulfill requests for information (received via Internet, telemarketing or email)
 * provide departmental support for Alliances and Sales Operations
 * handle confidential documents and matters.

Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must have:
 * a Bachelor's Degree or, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
 * 2-5 years financial services industry experience, a plus
 * excellent computer skills -- thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Adobe, Salesforce.com and Peoplesoft
 * the ability to analyze, influence, and problem-solve
 * knowledge of the financial services industry (a plus)
 * excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
 * the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic
 * strong organizational skills
 * the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
