Essential Skills
Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst for our Global Power group based in either its New York City or Chicago offices. Responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, running financial models, assisting senior analysts in credit committee and research report production, and attending senior management meetings with rated companies. The position has high visibility and growth potential and requires strong qualitative skills, basic statistics, proficiency in Excel and strong presentation skills. The ideal candidate will work well in a team environment and possess a background in financial database management. Relevant experience analyzing energy/power companies is a plus. Must be highly motivated and have a strong academic background, preferably with a concentration in Finance/Economics.
