Spherion, in conjunction with one of the world's leading international financial service providers is seeking an Application Developer.
Position Requirements:
Required:
- Financial services industry experience, front office or equity application development (3-4 years)
- Excel and Java development (3-4 years) - C#.NET (1 year)
1. Java and advanced VBA for Excel
2. Strong quantitative skills and analytical ability applied to equity product pricing and risk (e.g, Swap, derivatives, index composition)
3. Some C#.NET 2.0 background with a view to learn more
4. Strong working knowledge of equity trading technologies, vendors, and the industry market place
5. Development on substantive application software products
6. Hands on application support for the day-to-day operation of mission critical applications
7. Strong profession presence with the ability to communicate with members of the business community
8. Solid client service experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a trading floor environment 9. Bachelors degree
