Asset Based Lending Auditor II

Audits current and prospective large and complex Asset Based Loan (ABL) customers to determine adequacy of books and records, overall quality of financial reporting, condition and adequacy of collateral and reasonableness of proposed financing structure with help from more experienced personnel as required. Prepares extensive and detailed audit reports along with comprehensive recommendations to department management. Provides support on collateral issues as needed. Provides guidance and training to less experienced auditors as necessary. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.

Requirements:

4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required.5-7 years related experience required, with at least 5 years as an ABL auditor. In-depth knowledge of ABL auditing and generally accepted practices. Well developed analytical skills with ability to evaluate, interpret and summarize data. Attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills required. Ability to tactfully obtain extensive financial data from customers. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. PC skills. Some travel required, including overnight.
