Credit Risk Team

Summary:
An excellent opportunity exists on the credit risk team for a credit analyst. This individual will serve a critical role within the credit risk team for maintaining the section?s risk ranking model. Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with the rest of the credit risk team and any credit risk specialists assigned to an institution as a means to assist the team in risk ranking 4th District state member banks and holding companies relative to their level of credit risk.

Responsibilities:
Develop a risk ranking of 4th District institutions with respect to credit risk primarily through updating and maintaining our credit risk ranking model.
Assist with the further development and implementation of our department?s credit risk team.

Provide other analytical support, as needed, to the district for credit risk related matters.

Coordinate with our District?s and Federal Reserve System?s (FRS) surveillance and District?s examination functions to compile and analyze credit related quantitative and qualitative data.

Participate on District and/or FRS credit risk examinations, as necessary, and serve as a subject matter expert on credit related matters.

Assist in serving as a District contact for the Board of Governors and other FRS credit risk related risk teams.

Coordinate, as needed, with 4th District institutional credit related personnel.
Develop and maintain procedures for the credit analyst position.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of regulatory agency or bank credit department experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven analytical ability with regards to credit related matters
Strong written & verbal communications
Strong problem solving and judgment skills
Proven ability to work independently & think creatively and strategically
Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to complete assignments in a timely, high quality manner
Flexibility and a positive attitude toward change are a must

Additional Specifications:
Position can be performed out of any of our three offices (Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati)
Travel requirement of approximately 25%
