Associate, Middle Office Derivatives

 

An International Bank is seeking and Associate, Middle Officer Derivatives professional. Required: MS Word, Excel, Bloomberg and Reuters, plus knowledge/experience with equity derivatives products, basic knowledge of front office systems- Sophis preferred. Knowledge of Market Data (US rules, Dividends, Index) desirable. Must have strong analytical skills, able

to work in pressurized environment, strong interpersonal skills, plus able to work with various levels of business users and IT staff to resolve issues in a timely fashion. Strong verbal/written communication skills, good organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must be detail oriented, a quick learner, and self-motivated. Able to work independently. Primary focus is to provide support to traders and sales of global equity derivatives product line, both in terms of front office reference data management and front-to-back workflow follow up. Duties: Manage front office reference data: update front office reference datas (dividends, index composition, fixing, corporate actions, and third parties). Control dividends coupons inputted. Check OTC and Listed Options, liaise with back office. Assist for sales products (new issues on EMTN, Certificate, and Trackers). Follow up contributions, corporate action notices and redemption notices. Create reference datas. Chase/modify EAI anomalies, and outstanding Intellimatch items, assist requests from front and back offices. Dual reporting in NYC and Head Office.
