Job Function ?
Responsible for assisting in the overall management of the Branch.? Responsible for assisting in the development of profitable business relationships with clients in the market, organizing an effective sales team that delivers quality service, operating an efficient banking office while protecting the assets of the Bank and our clients, and training and developing staff.? May also perform the duties of the Market Mangager in his or her absence.

Job Responsibilities ?
15% Assist in the on-going business development of the market area through proactive sales calls, networking, and formulation of sales strategies to meet or exceed all small business and consumer loans, deposits and fee income goals.

35% Assists the Market Manager in the supervision of the daily operations/functions of the banking office personnel, recommends and maintains staffing levels, works along with the Market Manager in completing the performance appraisals, provides training, recommends promotions to the Market Manager, participates in the interview process of new employees, makes salary and terminations recommendations. Coach associates relative to expected sales and service behaviors..

5% Identify and refer larger business to appropriate internal business partners.

10% Assist the Branch Operations Manager in controlling operation/administration expenses.

10% Responsible for monitoring and recommending training needs for the Branch personnel. Also responsible for motivating the staff to attain high quality customer service standards and profit goals.

10% Ensures that Bank policies and procedures and regulatory compliance standards are met by all staff.

10% Responsible for representing the branch in a professional manner at all civic and community affairs on an as needed basis.

5% Other job related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
Education and Related Experience ?
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance or equvilant experience.
3+ years experience in banking including experience in branch operations, consumer and business banking product sales, business development and consumer and business loan processing.
2+ years supervisory experience

Skills and Abilities ?
?Knowledge of PC systems/applications
?Understanding of consumer and small business lending and investment products.
?Working knowledge of the banking office operations/functions.
?Working knowledge of all banking office products.
?The incumbent should also be knowledgeable in the loan application process to include accepting applications, gathering any necessary information and processing any applicable documentation in order to successfully package a loan application.

?Ability to read and interpret a document.
?Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.?
