Aviation & Vessel Lease Finance AVP-Project/Structured Credit

Our client, a Major International Bank with offices in New York City, will be adding a Vice President to their Project Finance/Structured Finance staff.  This individual must have 5 + years? experience analyzing Asset Based (Lease) credit transactions, with experience in aviation and vessel finance.

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent credit skills. The bank is offering a starting salary up to $120K plus a Bonus.

 

Major Responsibilities:

?  Conduct credit analyses ? continually assessing credit profiles,  reviewing technical evaluation of competitiveness, market & industry risk and evaluation of structure & strength of contracts

?  Monitor portfolio, continually sharing and exchanging credit information with other credit divisions to determine overall credit worthiness of borrowers, accepting/declining proposed commitments and hold levels, and recommending changes as deemed necessary for  individual transactions

?  Thorough consider credit risk issues and make recommendations to improve & implement policies & procedures for all international offices.

 

Job Requirements:

?  5 + years? experience as a  Project Finance Credit Officer at a major financial institution

?  Experience analyzing Asset Backed/Structured Loans- Aviation & Vessel lease financing

?  Excellent financial and credit risk management skills ? formal credit training a plus

?  Excellent written and oral communication skills, and reporting to management

?  Strong computer skills ? MS Word/Excel and Access

?  BA/BS, Finance, Business Administration or Accounting ? MBA a plus
