JOB TITLE: CHIEF CREDIT OFFICER
General Description:
The position of Chief Credit Officer is responsible for providing support, direction, credit information, and loan policies and procedures to ensure overall quality of the Bank?s lending portfolio. Duties include calculating the Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss Reserve (ALLL) and making recommendations to executive management and the Board of Directors for monthly allocations to the Loss Loan Reserve. Reviews and approves/declines large and complex loans before submission to the loan committee. This position is also responsible for participating in several committees involved in the management of the bank. Performs direct supervisory duties of department staff, and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department. The Chief Credit Officer assumes responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Bank policies and procedures and assures compliance with all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Principal Responsibilities: Provide supervision and support to all assigned areas of department operations where service or assistance is needed; oversees activities of department support personnel, opens and closes department. Reinforces superior customer service through personal example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees; conducts specific periodic meetings and presentations relating to this topic with all staff. Responds to inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate person; exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved. Prepares and calculates monthly ALLL and makes recommendations to executive management and the Board of Directors for the amount to be added/deducted to/from the loan reserve. Calculation includes analyzing local, regional, and national economic conditions; loan losses and trends; and loan product concentrations. Reviews and approves/declines large and complex loans prior to their submission to the Loan Committee; reviews consist of making recommendations on loan structure, terms, and pricing so as not to expose the band to undue credit risk. Directs company-wide credit and underwriting functions to include establishing prudent credit and underwriting policies and procedures; interface with personnel to establish product guidelines, risk limits and standards.
Skills and Abilities Required: The personal skills required to work effectively with staff and other personnel at all levels in banking areas as well as the organizational skills to perform detailed work in a fast paced environment. Knowledge and understanding of various credit structures, credit philosophy and credit underwriting. The ability to manage, improve and alter current commercial loan practices to improve efficiency and accuracy. Experience with managing multiple lines of business on the commercial lending side of the bank.
Minimum Level of Preparation and Training: An extensive background in commercial credit underwriting, bank lending policies and procedures. Minimum of 7-10 years of commercial banking experience A Bachelor?s degree is required
JOB TITLE: COMMMERCIAL CREDIT ANALYST
General Description:
The position of Commercial Credit Analyst supports credit lending decisions by analyzing customer's financial condition and ability to pay.
Duties:
* Develops credit histories by compiling financial information.
* Interprets financial and specific industry trends and customer payment histories by creating historical financial spreadsheets on customers; categorizing and entering data; analyzing trends.
* Investigates variances on customers' financial statements by requesting information from sources; researching development within the industry.
* Submits credit reports by including research data; identifying credit strengths and/or weaknesses.
* Maintains historical studies of customers by compiling and analyzing financial developments; comparing industry statistics with the company's exposure to that industry; conferring with institutions providing loans to that industry.
* Provides credit information to sources by compiling information; issuing reports.
* Recommends action on delinquent accounts by analyzing paying practices of customers.
* Recommends credit line adjustments by evaluating customer records, purchase activity, and payment history.
* Verifies accuracy of charges and corrects account errors by reviewing purchasing documentation; interviewing customers.
* Provides information by answering questions and requests.
* Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
* Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

JOB TITLE: BANK COLLECTION MANAGER
General Description:
Recovers organization's assets by collecting delinquent accounts; supervising employees.
Duties:
* Maintains collection guidelines by writing and updating collection policies and procedures.
* Evaluates collection policies and procedures by assessing accounts recovered in relation to effort, methods, and costs involved.
* Prepares collection reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
* Collects delinquent accounts by locating and notifying customers with delinquent accounts; establishing repayment schedules through contacts with customers by telephone, in person, or by other means.
* Monitors collection efforts by auditing accounts and reports; directing new approaches.
* Minimizes losses by referring bad-debt accounts to outside agency or attorney.
* Determines losses by writing off bad-debt accounts.
* Uncovers fraudulent activities by investigating account documentation.
* Determines legal course of action by conferring with attorneys; estimating probability of successful recovery.
* Prevents losses by notifying credit department of risks.
* Maintains historical records by ensuring that documents are completed and filed according to policy and procedure.
* Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping collection information confidential.
* Completes collection operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
* Maintains collection staff by orienting and training employees.
* Maintains collection staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

JOB TITLE: COMPLIANCE MONITOR
General Description:
Performs compliance monitoring tasks, as assigned, to evaluate the Bank?s extent of compliance with Banking regulations and laws. Functions include evaluating Bank procedures designed to ensure ongoing conformance with regulatory changes.
Principal Responsibilities:
Performs compliance monitoring procedures for all assigned areas of the Bank, in accordance with the Bank?s compliance monitoring program in order to achieve monitoring objectives.
Documents and organizes work in accordance with adequate compliance standards. Completes assignments efficiently and within established deadlines. Identifies discrepancies between actual practice, documented process and required regulatory procedures. Presents reports and findings to the compliance committee. Prepares detailed reports of compliance findings and recommendations.
Expands and/or develops technical knowledge in assigned areas.
