Responsibilities Include: 

?  Under direct supervision of Manager and/or Team Leader, monitor assigned compliance focus area(s) and communicate this information to line compliance personnel. 

?  Compliance issues have potentially significant effect at the group level, and a moderate effect on the Bank?s overall operations, public image, regulatory evaluation, etc. 

?  Advise Manager/Team Leader on emerging compliance issues, and assist line compliance officers in establishing policies, procedures and controls.

 

Requirements Include:Keep up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations impacting the assigned compliance focus area(s) and promptly communicate this information to line compliance personnel.  Provide input on minimum standards for compliance testing and monitor results.  Assist with coordination of regulatory examinations of the assigned compliance focus area(s) by federal regulators or other internal or external auditors.  Monitor status of any necessary corrective actions.  Provide technical assistance, training, information and analysis to line compliance personnel.  Keep Team Leader and Chief Compliance Officer informed of compliance issues.  Prepare reports to management regarding status of compliance in areas of compliance focus.

 

Preferred Skills Include: 

?  Strong project management, research, organization, and Microsoft Office skills preferred.
