Bank Operations Clerk

A growing community bank located in Hallandale Beach is looking for a candidate to join their team as an experienced Operations Clerk. This person will perform a variety of duties relating to the understanding of check operation work flow. Applies job knowledge and experience to perform routine, and periodically complex, processing, reconcilement, and balancing activities for transactions. Applies independent judgment and discretion within the framework of governing procedures.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:Return Item ProcessingLarge Dollar VerificationWire TransfersAccounts PayableAdhere to the Bank's attendance policies through regular and prompt attendanceStrong communication skills: interaction between branch and management staffBalance incoming TTL Fedline cases, matching up documentation accordinglyPerform other duties as assigned or requested

REQUIREMENTS:1-2 years of bank operations experienceAbility to perform routine tasksQuickBooks (a plus)Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel are a plus)Requires following generally defined proceduresSome independent thinking is requiredRequires communicating well with people at different levels, frequently sharing information with others while listening to and understanding their points of view
