Bank Reconciliation Technician-Phoenix

Utilizes automated reconciliation program to review store deposit activity against bank statement for variances and/or discrepancies.  Review matched/unmatched items to investigate/research and resolve discrepancies.  Inputs manual matches into automated reconciliation program.  Reviews automated journal entries, minimal preparation/input of manual entries.  Reconciles multiple bank accounts to related general ledger balances.  Special projects and other related duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

One to two years experience with general ledger reconcilement

Knowledge of accounting and ability to determine proper journalizing of bank activity

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:



Familiarity with bank statements and reconcilement preferred

PC skills in Windows 98 (Office Suite 98( and/or automated reconciliation applications preferred

Must work under minimal supervision and make independent judgements in accordance with established procedures
