Compliance Officer - Upstate Bank



Growing community bank with multiple locations in the Greenville area seeks a a Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with federal and state banking regulations for the Corporation's Compliance Management Program.

The Compliance Officer candidate will be responsible for overseeing a Compliance Program that includes a system of internal operating procedures to ensure compliance and minimize violations.

Very high profile position reporting to senior management.


Responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining the Compliance Policy and Program, conducting a periodic monitoring program to assess compliance performance, coordinating with Federal and State regulatory examinations, reviewing the Bank's forms and disclosures for compliance with applicable laws and regulations, completing and filing reports to Federal and State regulatory agencies on a timely basis.

Requirements:

 

* BS degree, MBA a plus
* 5+ years of compliance experience in a financial institution or the FDIC
* Working knowledge of compliance laws and regulations
* Working knowledge of bank operations and procedures
* Knowledge of trend analysis and other statistical tools
* Strong analytical skills
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
