Banking Sales Representative- Base 45-55k. 1st Year 55-75k

Top 5 National Bank and full service brokerage firm is looking for Financial Sales Reps throughout all of NJ, Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester and Connecticut.  We have branches and openings throughout our 3,100 locations in Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester County, Southern Connecticut, and Northern/Central/Southern NJ.  We are 126 yr old bank, have over $500 billion in assets, employ over 90,000 employees, 5,000 ATM's and have over 3,100 financial centers.

 The #1 Objective is to sell banking services to new walk-in customers, existing customers and to strategic small businesses within your territory.

 

Your duties to maximize bank performance and growth will include:

 

1. 35%-40% Qualify and sell walk-in business referred to you at local branch office during

office hours.

2.  50% Consult, assess, and sell long-term financial services/products to existing Wachovia banking customers through warm calls.  Schedule appointments before, during and after bank hours.

3. 5%-10% Form partnerships with strategic businesses to offer employees or members Wachovia banking benefits. 

 

We offer:

Salary between $45K ? 55k base+comm. 1st yr: 10k ? 20k on top, 2nd yr: double your salary 3rd yr: triple your salary, excellent benefits including education, 401K, pension plan, growth opportunities throughout organization, excellent formal training program. 

 

You must have:

2 plus years direct Sales Experience in industries such as Banking, Office Products, Payroll services, Telecommunications, Insurance, Mortgage, Retail, etc. 

BS/BA preferred

Proven track record/experience in sales and customer service

Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary
