Position:

 

The Branch Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for directing the efficiency and profitability of an assigned branch by implementing corporate strategy and marketing initiatives.  BDMs serve as the Sales Team Manager for their assigned branch.  Develops new outside business and ensures sales of new and existing business within the branch.  BDM can handle these plus commercial relationships at their assigned level of commercial lending authority. BDMs also have administrative and managerial responsibility for their assigned branch and all employees within their branch.

Requirements:

 Four year college degree required or equivalent experienceProven track record of successfully conducting sales callsProven track record of growing branch profitability year over yearCan successfully coach all levels of branch employees in pertinent job skillsCan successfully document and conduct disciplinary processesCan interview and quickly assess candidates to fill roles in short timeframesSolid communication skills (can write clear and concise business communications, is professional at all times in face-to-face, voice and electronic communications with customers and coworkers)Can independently cultivate new customers and business relationshipsPossesses conversational sales skillsCan build lasting relationships with existing customers to increase portfolio growth year over year financial institution.
