Branch Manager- NYC, Westchester, Yonkers

Bank Manager position with a top 5 National Bank and full service brokerage firm. BANKING EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED.

We have branches and openings throughout our 3,100 locations in Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester County, Southern Connecticut, and Northern/Central/Southern NJ.  We are 126 yr old bank, have over $500 billion in assets, employ over 90,000 employees, and have over 3,100 financial centers.

 

Your duties to maximize bank performance and growth will include:

1.  Maximize service levels of branch.  Direct walk-in customers to appropriate personnel, staff branch appropriately, focus team on high value customers.

2.  Lead by example.  Coach, lead, and show Teller Managers, Service Bankers, and Sales Reps-Biz/Consumer correct process to maximize results. 

3.  Facilitate teamwork.  Is point person for communicating between consumer and business sales leads and holds effective team meetings.

4.  Deliver the performance results needed. Grow the bank's book of business by overseeing the sales department's ability to acquire new consumer and business customers and by penetrating existing customers.  Develop team strategies to achieves team/branch goals.

 

We offer:

Salary between $45K-$65K, $10K-$30K annual comm/bonus, excellent benefits including education, 401K, pension plan, growth opportunities throughout organization, excellent formal training program. 

 

You must have:

2-5 years of formal management experience in a retail environment (Does not have to be banking). 

Work in a retail branch location and manage a team of 10 to 75 employees.  Recruit, train, lead, coach, and instill motivation leadership onto team.

A structured daily/weekly "drill" or "method" that you successfully instill and manage.

HS degree, but BS/BA preferred.

Assistant Bank Managers/Bank Managers strong operationally preferred.
