Job Description
As a Branch Manager, these individuals are responsible for developing branch sales,training, motivating, hiring and terminating bank employees. Responsibilities also include developing new business and creating sales plans as well as acting as security officer for the branch. These individuals also oversee all bank operations including maintaining audit requirements and budgetary planning.


Primary Responsibilities

develops daily and weekly branch sales plans
develops and implements teleservicing plans to include calling on maturing accounts, sales leads, referrals, new account follow up and other prospecting opportunities for the designated market area
tracks results and follows up as appropriate
promotes, explains and sells all retail banking products
develops new business opportunities and conducts outside sales calls (if possible)
obtains license to sell alternative investment products
authorizes transactions in accordance with bank policy (i.e. deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, wire transfers, etc.)
addresses and resolves client concerns and inquiries
ensures and is held accountable for the audit integrity, risk management and security of the branch
maintains thorough product knowledge of all retail products and provides staff training to include product knowledge, sales, referrals, customer service, risk management and policies and procedures


Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
3+ years sales/financial service representative experience
3+ years consumer, mortgage lending experience
Minimum of three years branch operations/risk management experience
