Branch Operations Project Specialist

Responsible for branch operations projects including preparing scope, outlining goals and task responsibilities and establishing timelines. Determines project resources required and secures necessary sponsorship. Monitors progress to ensure timely delivery and communicates progress to management. Supports Company-wide projects as necessary. Primary contact for retail branch network responding to the most complex, escalated issues relative to branch efficiencies and customer service. Interfaces with business line management and recommends necessary changes to bank operational procedures. Manages the annual peer audit project. Develops and implements peer audit materials and branch self-audit packages. Reviews branch audit findings for accuracy and compliance with Company policy. Partners with department managers to ensure satisfactory audit scores and implements changes at branches as necessary. Assists management in the review of operational processes associated with mergers, acquisitions, branch openings and consolidations. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.

Requirements:

Travel may be required. 4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 3+ years related experience required. Strong project coordination skills required. Demonstrated knowledge of bank policies and procedures. Ability to analyze information and recommend appropriate business solutions. Proven process improvement skills required, including ability to evaluate procedures and recommend improvements. Excellent time management skills, including the ability to bring a project to completion on time. Ability to work independently and supervise others, if applicable. Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Ability to influence others actions and decisions without express authority. Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other Company applications as necessary.
