Branch Operations Specialist

  The Center Support Specialist is responsible for providing overall customer service, operations and sales support and expertise for the Center team and their clients.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Service/Operation Support

 


Act as onsite dedicated service/operations expert on a wide range of customer issues, directly supporting the RM team and assisting their customers with account questions and issues.     
Troubleshoot basic and advanced technical issues for clients.

? Research and resolve customer account issues.  Work with RM?s to communicate solutions directly or indirectly with clients.   
May be involved in outbound client contacts in defined specialty areas: Margin calls, Account Transfers, Option Exercises, Reorganization
May be involved in answering inbound and calls and assisting customers in placing trades.

 

Sales Support



 

? Process mailings to clientele as directed by Financial Advisors and Branch Manager.

? Prepare, modify and mail client proposals as directed by Financial Advisor and Branch Manager.

? Follow-up on investment transaction status with internal management.

? Must become proficient using the financial applications used by the Financial Advisors, i.e. Morningstar, Thompson and BondDesk.

? Handle the processing of inbound and outbound correspondence.

 

Other Miscellaneous

 
Assists Financial Advisors and Relationship Managers in organizing customer proposals and setting up seminars.
Perform secondary duties as defined by Branch Manager.
When necessary, assist with stock certificate deposit, check deposits and complete corresponding blotters.
Organize and deliver daily center statistics to Branch Manager.

 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS, REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 

? A minimum of 3-5+ years experience in a Customer Service or Operations Support environment.  Experience in Banking and/or Financial Services Industry is preferred but not required.

? Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-profile multi-tasking environment.  Must be flexible to shift projects as priorities change. 

? Must be detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and trouble shooting simple to complex issues.
Must have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.  Excellent customer service attitude, professionalism, and work ethic.

? Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize work on a regular basis with minimum supervision. 

? Must be proficient in MS Office programs, specifically MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point for financial reports, presentations, and other special projects, as required; knowledge of VISIO is a plus.  Strong technical aptitude and trouble shooting skills are necessary.
Education or Training Equivalent to: BA/BS preferably in business administration, finance or related field.
Interest in sales environment and sales/relationship management processes.
1 year + E*Trade experience preferred. 
Series 7 and 63 licenses.
