Branch Supervisor II

Provides day-to-day coaching, guidance and leadership to branch staff including Tellers and Branch Service Representatives (BSR). May supervise Customer Sales Representatives (CSR) as needed. Monitors progress toward branch goals and modifies schedule/workload to ensure completion of objectives. Reinforces core service values through recognition of staff. Oversees branch daily operations, including opening and closing branch, signing bank checks within authorized limits, assisting in processing various loan documents, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, etc. Coordinates branch referral results taking corrective action as needed. Assists staff in developing and maintaining knowledge of Company product and service offerings. Conducts regular informational, motivational and training meetings with staff, ensuring that referral goals and other lines of business targets are achieved. Assists management in development and implementation of branch sales plan. May provide a variety of customer services, including performing Teller or CSR responsibilities as necessary. Sells and cross sells a wide range of Company products and opens new accounts. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Two year degree preferred. Minimum 2-3 years banking or customer service experience. Previous lead or supervisory experience is required or demonstrated leadership ability (regularly coaches and supports the work of others in performance of own duties). Comprehensive understanding of branch operations policies and procedures. Demonstrated customer service, sales and sales management skills with an assertive and persuasive communication style. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize own work and others in a fast-paced, sales oriented environment. Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to make decisions appropriate for the Company
