OVERVIEW / SUMMARY

 

Under limited supervision, manages all aspects of branch, including; meeting sales and marketing targets for all retail banking products and services, branch operations, supervision, leadership, motivation and training of branch personnel, along with ensuring delivery of superior customer service.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

 

? Meets sales, marketing, customer service and operational targets and quotas

? Creates and implements branch marketing and promotional programs to meet sales targets and quotas to include walk-in, outside, loan officer referral, mail and telemarketing business development

? Ensures that the staff has sufficient sales, marketing, cross selling, product, operations and regulatory knowledge, as well as customer service skills to perform effectively

? Monitors all work performed by subordinates for accuracy, completeness, compliance with all regulatory and internal operating policies and procedures and for execution of assigned sales and marketing targets and quotas

? Coordinates work flow, providing quality and efficient support to customers and ICB loan officers

? Keeps supervisor apprised of branch and call center performance against targets and quotas, local retail banking and national internet market banking trends, and customer demands

? Responsible for identifying and recommending to supervisor possible opportunities to improve how individual tasks can be performed, how department operations can be made more efficient or any other ideas which might benefit the company

? Assists other managers with the attainment of branch goals and objectives

? Assists with special projects or duties as assigned by management

? Conduct performance evaluations and other appropriate personnel actions

? Conducts training programs as needed or directed on special projects or needs

? Maintains facility in a clean, neat and organized condition

? Participates in bank, community and professional activities that promote branch business objectives

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

 

Education & Experience Required: Minimum of five years management experience in a retail banking environment. Extensive knowledge of retail banking products, and how they are sold, marketed and promoted, including:  business and consumer checking accounts, business and consumer online banking, savings and retirement products, credit cards, overdrafts, residential loans, etc. Notary license. Familiarity with all applicable Federal and State regulations. Experience in personnel management, sales management, customer service, and regulatory and internal compliance.  Extensive prior experience managing a branch located in the same demographic area as company?s open branch manager position.  Proven ability in meeting and exceeding branch sales objectives and increasing consumer and business demand deposit base.

 

Standards of Performance:

Extensive knowledge of branch and call center operations.  Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of computers including word processing, spreadsheets and the Bank?s deposit operating system.

Competency in basic math skills
