Our client, a Top-Tier Global Investment Bank is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with Equity Trading application experience who can oversee and help streamline the process for regulatory reporting and compliance for trade execution to the SEC.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career. 

 

This is position sits within the Global Equities group that supports among other business?s, Securities Lending, Prime Brokerage, Equity Finance, Listed Options, Listed Trading, NASDAQ Trading, Algorithmic Trading, Program Trading and Risk Arbitrage.

The team is responsible for facilitating data mining, regulatory and exchange reporting of order handling and trade execution data in support of the business unit.  You should understand business and system processes, be able to analyze different businesses and how they conduct their "Book of Business". 

 

Requirements:

 Business Analysis: Gather and document business requirements; test system functionality and verify information accuracy.  Effective writing skills(extremely important).Understanding of how a firm posts trades to the firm's books and allows real time exchange reporting (Rule 92) and risks analysisFamiliarity with Regulatory Rules such as Blue Sheets, SS20, UPTR,  Form 121, form 410B would be helpful but not mandatory.3-7 years overall experience with excellent academic credentials (MBA strongly preferred).Any "Big 4" or management consulting experience a big plus.Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
