Business Banking Center Manager

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION FUNCTION: Under administrative direction, is responsible for the efficient and effective management and overall success of the office ensuring all regulatory compliance and audit issues are performed according to established policies and procedures.  Makes recommendations for processes and procedures best suited to a Business Banking Office.  Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed; makes joint business calls with managers from other divisions as needed and represents the Bank at community events. Coordinates and completes diverse operational and managerial tasks within stringent timeframes to satisfy business clients.  Interfaces with support and service areas on behalf of other divisions (i.e., SME, CRM, CRE and Ag) to consult and provide technical support needed on operational issues/opportunities and mitigation of risk.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

 

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent with minimum of 5 years commercial bank operations experience (including comprehensive knowledge of and experience working directly with deposited item processing, DDA systems, wire transfer systems, and commercial product delivery systems); or Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration or Finance or related field with minimum of 3 years commercial bank operations experience (as indicated above).  Two years supervisory experience required.  Must possess comprehensive operational background knowledge of consumer and business products and services in order to manage a business banking office, deal effectively with people, and effectively address customer inquiries and suggest alternative solutions.
