You as a Business Banking Representative II will -

* Be responsible for increasing both business loan and deposit outstandings in an assigned territory.
* Cross-sell products to existing business customers (both borrowers and non-borrowers) and prospects.
* Be responsible for individual sales efforts and cultivation of the branches to achieve unit goals for small business at your respective branch.
* Have high volume telephone contact and some in person visits
* Network with internal and external referral sources and be visible in the community.

You and your skills -

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Excellent communication skills particularly over the phone
* Ability to manage the sales process, be persuasive, make compelling sales presentations, and negotiate terms
* Knowledge of commercial and consumer underwriting
* Knowledge of some computer applications, including but not limited to, MS Office and some internal applications would be helpful
* The minimum amount of related work experience preferred is three years and up to five years: financial service sales or retail banking sales experience and one to two years experience working with small business owners on their business banking needs
