Business Operations Services Manager

Provident Credit Union, a well established financial institution since 1950 is currently seeking an Operations Manager in the Account Services Department. Primary functions include: Ensure timely and efficient operations, including processing investment accounts (IRAs, Term Share Certificates, Trust Accounts and Money Market Acct.), Member Payroll, ACH, ATM, New Accounts, Deceased Accounts, Wire Transfers, Returned Deposits, Levies and Garnishments, Sharedraft Exceptions and Receipting. To prevent monetary penalties, ensure timely and accurate processing of Federal and State Tax reporting and payments for both IRA withholding and backup withholding.Ensure general ledger accounts, which pertain to the Account Services Dept. are accurately reconciled and reviewed to ensure the accounts balance and that all outstanding items are cleared by the established deadlines. Ensure safety and security for all cash and negotiable instruments received from members by mail or ATM. Prepare and monitor and adhere to the Account Services budget.Interview and make hiring decisions. Plan and lead weekly staff meetingsProvide constructive feedback and on-going coaching when necessary to help staff improve performance. Write and deliver employee performance evaluationsProvide assistance to other internal departments as well as to Provident?s members
