Business Supervisor-Lockbox, 2nd Shift, Operations Service Group, Dallas, TX

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Lead Lockbox Supervisor to be responsible for supervising the timely and accurate processing of Lockbox/Bank-by-Mail transactions. Responsibilities include line level supervision of full-time and part-time employees, monitoring employee absenteeism and tardiness; scheduling of personnel to provide processing capabilities during peak periods throughout the week; directing Automated Lockbox processing; checking outgoing lockbox detail to ensure a quality product is delivered in order to achieve zero defect error rates; keeping the Manager of Transacting Processing informed of errors and problems within the department relative to processing and personnel issues; counseling employees for reviews, corrective actions, and responsibility changes; compiling and reporting statistics monthly; monitoring risk within the department; providing back-up as LAN management support during shift and assisting other areas within the Operations and Services department as instructed by management.

For this position, we require a BA degree or equivalent work experience, as well as two to three years of supervisory experience and two to five years banking experience. Lockbox and deposit processing experience, ten-key and typing skills by touch, good interpersonal relationship skills, ability to change and adapt quickly to new situations, computer software literacy, including knowledge of Foxpro, Lotus 123 and Word Perfect as well as good communication skills (written and verbal) are also preferred.
