C++/C# Developer - Equities Research - Hedge Fund Opportunity-NY $200k

A Global hedge fund based in the city with over ?4bn in funds under management are looking for a strong front office C++ developer to join their first class Equities research team. The role will involve working closely with the quants and traders whilst implementing a new front office system that will be written primarily in C#. At least 4 years of C++ development within a front office financial environment is essential including experience with .NET. An excellent understanding of STL and RDBMS - a good understanding of stored procedures, triggers etc is also a must. Knowledge of C# will identify the most suitable candidates however it is not a prerequisite as learning trees will be provided. Academic expectations are high, with a stellar educational background expected. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a greenfield project that is closely aligned to the Equity business.
