C++/Java Programmer - FX Options - Top Investment Bank -$200k - NY
A Top Investment Bank in Midtown Manhattan requires a strong programmer with experience of C++, Java and options trading. This is to work on the options trading desk within a high profile Fixed Income technology group.
This role would suit an experienced programmer looking for closer interaction and to the business and the opportunity to influence the vendor product used for options trading.
Due to the close proximity to traders, candidates for this role will have excellent communication skills. You will also have excellent knowledge of derivatives (options, swaps etc). You will have a minimum of 5 years server side programming experience in Java and C++ in both UNIX and Windows environments. This will include multithreaded Java/C++, socket programming, creating standard template libraries, Inter Process Communication, TCP/IP. You must have experience building electronic trading systems from scratch and enhancing the systems to include new functionality for exotic options.
