COMMERCIAL CREDIT ANALYST

As a Credit Analyst in Commercial Banking, you will:

?Be responsible for conducting credit analysis including gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers and portfolios.

?Make recommendations/decisions regarding the extension of credit.

?Be responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit risk

?Monitor customer accounts and loan portfolios in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss

?Prepare and present credit reports to lenders and committees for use in the making of lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans

?Maintain control over the credit standings of accounts and furnishes information relative to credit inquiries, as appropriate.

?Determine appropriate information needed for use in performing a credit quality analysis.

?Analyze and interpret credit quality information for a prospective loan, a loan portfolio, a line of credit, or other portfolio (i.e., credit card portfolio).

?Prepare specialized reports on loan quality/portfolio quality for management.

?Perform economic and industry analyses, financial projections and risk assessments.

?Ensure that all credit files are kept current with latest financial statements, reports, etc.

?Provides credit information and references for customers, Relationship Managers/Loan Officers.

Must currently be working at a bank.
