CREDIT ANALYST - CREDIT CARDS

TIB-The Independent BankersBank is the second largest bankers bank in North America serving over 1,200 customers in over 40 states. Our only business is correspondent banking. TIB is located in Irving, Texas.  We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst to work in our Credit Card Service department.  TIB offers great benefits and a 401(k) program.

 

Basic Function:

Review account credit line increase to determine credit worthiness

 

Major Duties / Responsibilities:

1.  Analyze incoming credit card applications and line increases and take appropriate action; support other phases of application processing including credit bureau related inquiries.

2.  Perform extensive review of corporate financial statements, cash flow and compliance.

3.  Evaluate both quantity and quality of assets, income and debt services, as needed.

4.  Function as a resource for and escalation point for credit bureau related inquiries.

5.  Maintain workflow and communicate issues for the department.

6.  Initiate outbound telephone calls to banks, service providers, cardholders, and applicants; handle inbound telephone calls and incoming correspondence.

7.  Provide ongoing maintenance for accounts and support the archiving of files and records.

8.  Assist in the completion and review of departmental reports including the renewal and reissue of existing accounts.

9.  Communication issues for the credit area through outbound calls to banks and other creditors.

10.  Perform other duties assigned by management.

 

Requirements / Desired Qualifications:

?  1-2 years in Banking/Financial Institution experience

?  Experience in analyzing/processing consumer/corporate credit applications; prefer credit cards.

?  College degree in business or finance preferred

?  Able to function as a resource and escalation point for credit bureau related inquiries.

?  Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.

?  Experience in providing high quality service with a high level of dependability and adaptability.

? Professional orientation to include effective verbal and written communication skills.

? Intermediate PC skills with all Windows applications and good analytical skills.

?  Individual should possess good interpersonal skills.
