Check Clerk

Position Summary:
Responsible for the organization and upkeep of check processing work and documentation for the Check Department.

Essential Accountabilities:
File check processing work and documentation.
Retrieve appropriate files.
Destroy old information according to appropriate retention schedules.
Perform basic data entry functions.
Retrieve, sort, and distribute documents.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Specifications:
High school education or equivalency
No prior experience
Ability to perform routine tasks
Requires following clearly defined procedures. Problems are solved easily or by consulting with supervisor. Requires performing clearly outlined tasks that are closely monitored.
Interpersonal communication: Requires communicating well with people at different levels, frequently sharing information with others while listening to and understanding their points of view.
Working in a group environment: Requires working as part of a group to solve issues and problems.
