Commercial Loan Processor (Direct Hire)

JOB DESCRIPTION The Commercial Loan Processor will provide loan production support to the commercial real estate department. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Process commercial real estate loan files;

- Fund and book commercial real estate loans;

- Set-up loan files;

- Obtain verification of deposits and verifications of mortgages;

- Review preliminary title and assist in obtainment of required endorsements;

- Audit property documentation (i.e., rent roll, leases for preparation of subordination agreements, estoppels, etc.);

- Prepare closing statements and complete reviews of files prior to transferring to loan servicing;

- Process declined loan files and prepare adverse action letters;

- Review preliminary title and help with obtaining required endorsements;

- Create commercial real estate loan documents and/or book commercial real estate loans;

- Audit all booked loans ensuring accuracy and compliance with approved loan terms; and

- Update daily internal commercial real estate loan rate sheets.?

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 3 years of commercial loan processing experience;

- Excellent communication skills;

- Prior management experience;

- Effective time management skills & ability to meet dealines while maintaining work quality;

- Must be a team player and well organized;

- Type 45 WPM and be proficient in: MS Office 2000 (Word, Excel, Access); Windows 2000; Delta Doc System; Rembrandt Doc System FICS Commercial Services and Commercial Accountant; IBM PC compatibles; and extensive Internet knowledge.

This is a DIRECT HIRE position. This position will be located in downtown LA.
