Commercial Real Estate Credit Officer

Our client has an immediate need for experienced Real Estate Commercial Underwriters. Qualified candidates will perform borrower and collateral due diligence; prepare financial statements and tax return spreadsheets; evaluate collateral; perform cash flow analysis; prepare credit memos for loan approval; order and review loan documents; prepare tickler addenda and organize credit files; assist Relationship Managers with portfolio management; monitor loan covenants for compliance and identify risk issues.

Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance from a four year college or university, a minimum three to four years of commercial real estate loan underwriting experience. Construction loan underwriting experience is highly desirable. Proficient in financial statement and tax return spreadsheet analysis and real estate cash flow analysis. Ability to perform construction loan due diligence. Must be detail oriented and possess good oral and written communication skills as well as good organizational skills. Knowledge of real estate loan documentation is helpful. Must have ability to perform successfully in a highly productive environment while maintaining good customer service. Proficient in Word, Excel and spreadsheet analysis programs.
