The Opportunity:

The bank is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Loan Agent. Your main focus will be on developing commercial real estate loans, construction loans (either residential or commercial), Multifamily, and Commercial Investor Real Estate loans. You develop commercial estate or construction loans, provide the application package and work with a broker or direct borrower to determine loan rate and terms based on the banks parameters. You can be based anywhere in Southern California and provide loans from anywhere in that area. You are expected to be proactive and to work as a partner with your customers to develop mutually beneficial long-term business relationships.



This bank is large enough to offer competitive pricing on their products and because they are a decentralized community bank you will also be able to offer your customers a high degree of customer service to ensure an even higher degree of customer retention. Additionally, this is not a ?cookie cutter bank?, if a deal does not fit the traditional mold the emphasis will be on trying to get the deal done and service the need of your customer.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience from a similar position.
A self-starter attitude that aggressively looks for real estate loan/construction loans.
Experienced enough to determine qualified loan from a non-qualified loan.
Extensive knowledge of one or more communities in Southern California.
Network of referral sources.
Aggressive sales person who is very competitive.
Ability to work with brokers and direct borrowers.
