The CBAM assists the Community Banking Manager (CBM) in carrying out all Branch duties and responsibilities and is the co-manager of the office sales culture implementing targeted sales and marketing processes. The CBAM is also responsible for ensuring operational integrity, including compliance in all policies and procedures.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

? Assists CBM in directing and carrying out all sales activities and initiatives.

? Shares responsibility for achieving sales goals.

? Coaches, trains, and assists all other Branch team members.

? Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all bank products and services.

? Ensures that bank policies and procedures are followed.

? Responsible for communicating and implementing changes to policies and procedures.

? Demonstrates Sovereign?s standards.

? Ensures that team members exceed customer satisfaction.

? Carefully applies policies and procedures while granting exceptions.

? Assures Branch physical security: dual control, audits, compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.

? Appropriately uses signing authority and overrides.

? Supervises the Branch in the absence of the CBM.

? Assists in counseling, training and meetings.

? Other duties as assigned or requested.

 

Qualifications:

? High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

? Eighteen months of experience as a Personal Banking Representative or combined Customer Service Manager/Personal Banking Representative or eighteen months supervisory experience in a retail sales environment.

? Excellent track record of sales results.

? Strong organizational and time management skills.

? Ability to form and maintain relationships both internal and external.

? Excellent communication skills and the ability to make independent decisions and utilize sound judgment.
