Community Business Banker - Senior

JOB SUMMARY:

Develops and services a wide variety of business relationships involving various business products and services, including credit, depository and those of affiliated business partners.  Responsibilities may include management of Business Bankers within their respective regions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. The solicitation and servicing of business relationships, including both loans and deposits, for his/her own account portfolio.  In addition, supports the Region?s commercial account portfolio through joint calling initiatives and as a secondary account officer wherever appropriate.
2. Assists regional Retail Division Manager in formulating and implementing the new business development plan for the Division?s commercial market, including the directing and monitoring of the direct calling program.
3. Responsible to regional Retail Division Manager for acceptable growth of the business loan portfolio and commercial deposit base.
4. Direct accountability for the credit quality of his/her own and his/her direct reports? business loan portfolios, including delinquencies, watch list loans, timely identification of problem loan situations, loan work out and recovery.
5. Serves as his/her own and his/her direct reports? interface with the Business Banking Division Manager concerning all issues affecting the business and loan portfolios.
6. Responsible for providing underwriting support to other business lenders within the Region, including the development of comprehensive loan application packages and assisting in their presentations to appropriate loan committees.
7. Assists regional Retail Division Manager with all business client related activities within the Region, and facilitates training and development initiatives to enhance performance both in terms of new business production and sound credit quality.
8. Assists regional Retail Division Manager in developing periodic budgets and action plans to accomplish corporate objectives as it relates to the growth of the commercial portfolio.
