Regional and Community Banking Group



An excellent opportunity exists for experienced individuals in the Consumer Affairs unit of the Regional and Community Banking Group. The Regional and Community Banking Group (RCBG) strives to deliver a high quality supervision and examination program for Regional and Community Banking Organizations. RCBG conducts Consumer Compliance and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) examinations of state member banks. These reviews are conducted to promote banking-related consumer protection/civil rights laws and regulations with a core purpose to advance fairness.



Essential Job Functions:



Position may be in San Francisco, Los Angeles or Salt Lake City.



We are looking for senior and mid-level examiners who can bring solid experience to the position. Industry experience is a must, compliance and CRA officers and individuals with CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) designations are particularly desirable. Successful candidates must be able to effectively accomplish the following:


Plan, conduct, and oversee consumer compliance and CRA examinations
Communicate the results of these reviews to state member banks and the Board of Governors through Reports of Examination
Communicate the results of CRA examinations to the public through Public Performance Evaluations
Participate in a wide variety of special projects, division initiatives and Federal Reserve System initiatives


Essential Skills
Position Requirements:

Bachelors degree (advanced degree a plus)
Three plus years of compliance and CRA experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Sound problem solving and judgment skills
Intermediate computer skills, including a Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be willing to travel approximately 60%
