Confirmation Specialist
Prestigious Fortune 100 Company is searching for a Confirmation Specialist.
Candidate will be responsible for drafting outgoing derivative trade confirmations, reviewing incoming trade documentation and maintaining product database.
Liaison with traders and marketers to ensure that trade documents are dispatched correctly and promptly.
Proficiency in MS Office and previous professional experience working with derivative products and a familiarity with ISDA definitions is required; fixed income, swaps, FRA, floors, caps, equity, bonds, mortgage back securities, trade settlements
Ability to negotiate North American Equity Derivative Master Confirmations and customized long form templates
Excellent knowledge of ISDA documentation architecture and definitions
5 years minimum of direct experience drafting legal documentation for equity derivative products, including 2 years minimum drafting complex structures (e.g. variance, dispersion, dividend swaps, collars, spreads and other exotic options).
Ability to train and give direction to junior drafters
Paralegal or complimentary financial product experience a plus
