Responsible for researching, implementing, training, managing and reporting on mortgage products for release to multiple business units utilizing conforming, Alt-a and subprime products.
1.
Manage research/analysis efforts, communicate with production units, develop recommendations, and present products to BDC for approval. Effectively communicate these decisions to the production units.

Recommend pricing levels to ensure MLN remains competitive in the market while maintaining the profitability targets outlined in the annual budget.

Responsible for overseeing Project Management to ensure products are defined properly for LOS support staff, supplemental questions are answered and project deadlines are set to allow for systems development, training and roll out.

Organize training material and conduct training sessions to ensure staff in all affected business units understands the product changes and has the tools necessary to produce loans under the new guidelines upon roll out.

Develop reporting to track all new products/enhancements to ensure profitability and volume assumptions utilized in decision-making were appropriate. Report findings to the BDC to ensure future assumptions utilized are accurate and to hold production staff accountable for their volume estimates submitted during the product request phase of development.

6.
Effectively co-manage investor relationships with the Secondary Marketing Manager to enable MLN to position itself in the market with a competitive, profitable product base.

Education:
BA/BS or equivalent experience

Experience/Training:
7-10 years experience in the Mortgage Industry
Progressive career path with increasing levels of responsibility, including managing staff
Comprehensive knowledge of underwriting guidelines and the ability to effectively translate investor guidelines

Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) across all levels of the organization
Solid understanding of automated underwriting engines
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership skills
High level of organization skills required to facilitate multiple requests simultaneously
