Requirements:

In this position, you will motivate, lead, develop and coach Senior Decisioners and Decisioners to ensure individual performance meets or exceed expectations around underwriting goals. You will collaborate with other partners/leaders to achieve common goals, coach on-going behaviors for direct reports to achieve their individual and team goals, as well as maintain strong working knowledge of employee?s roles/responsibilities in order to serve as an effective role model and coach. In addition, you will recruit, hire, develop and retain the best employees for each position, while utilizing corporate resources to manage/maintain staffing levels with stability, and directly manage all Human Resources processes for all direct reports (appraisals, individual development plan, career development, training and interviews). You will also utilize Individual Development Plan processes to set objectives, create action plans and monitor progress; create a motivational environment within the team by encouraging employees to succeed; serve as escalation point for sales/service issue resolution; and meet quarterly with market leaders, team members and other partners to review market performance to ensure delivery of consistent sales/service approach. Additionally, you will promote and ensure teamwork between direct reports and others key partners, assess performance of all direct reports, reward/recognize strong performers and develop action plans to address performance issues. You will also ensure staffing goals are met and overall team goals, as well as operational efficiency.

Strong industry knowledge on retail lending, underwriting, risk and compliance is a must. Ability to analyze real estate appraisals, titles and floods is necessary, as well as understanding market and financial indicators. Five plus years? recent retail lending management experience, industry experience and proven ability to lead, train, motivate and develop employees are required. Project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects at once are necessary. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Retail lending and leadership experience is a must. Proven problem-solving, conflict resolution, time management and decision-making skills are also required. BS or BA desired.
