Consumer Loan Closer
Job Purpose: Serves customers by finalizing consumer loan documents; conducting closing meeting.
Duties:
* Prepares for consumer loan closings by verifying application and documentation; obtaining or requiring additional information and substantiation; scheduling and coordinating closing meeting.
* Protects loan investment by obtaining title, flood, and fire insurance.
* Welcomes borrowers and others to closing by greeting them; answering questions.
* Completes consumer loan by reviewing loan provisions; collecting payments; obtaining signatures.
* Records consumer loan by filing documents; forwarding copies to borrower.
* Maintains customer confidence by keeping loan information confidential.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
* Accomplishes bank mission by completing related results as needed.
